Regional HR Partner- Wales, West and Central Regions/ Home Counties and East Anglia

Home Based with travel to stores in your region

Salary: cGBP43,000 DOE

There are two separate positions.

Tandem Talent is proud to be working with an exciting, people focused retail company who are based on the outskirts of Malmesbury. Due to a period of sustained growth, they are looking for a new Regional HR/ People Partner to cover Wales, West and Central regions/ and Home Counties and East Anglia. There are two sepearte positions.

Working closely with the Regional Manager, to build organisation and people capabilities in retail stores across all fascia. Develop, shape, and implement an effective people strategy and the specific people aspects of the Regional Business Plan to achieve shared organisational objectives.

Provide a professional, trusted, customer focussed service that delivers best practice and commercially focussed solutions that support the business Work together with colleagues in the Team when implementing new people approaches and initiatives to ensure such projects meet the requirements of the retail operation

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the source of people/ HR expertise when supporting and coaching managers and their teams on all aspects of managing people, ensuring managers take ownership for resolving people related matters
  • Provide effective advice and support to retail colleagues, promoting employee wellbeing and maximising employee engagement
  • Providing relevant and timely advice to managers in all people related activity including performance management, attendance, disciplinary issues, grievances, and organisational change, in line with best practice and internal policies
  • Management of employee relations casework across the region and in complex cases, or cases involving store managers, attend investigation, disciplinary and grievance hearings to provide guidance and support to ensure an effective process is followed
  • Support, advise and lead on change management projects across the region including restructures and store closures
  • Equip managers with appropriate tools, knowledge, and policies to effectively manage their teams in line with best practice and legislative changes
  • Work alongside managers and the People and Product Development team to understand training needs and support with the design and delivery of training as required
  • Support the People Partnering / HR Manager and People/ HR Director, or lead on key business projects and initiatives, including organisation redesign, structure changes and system implementation

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working at HR Partner level, within multi-site retail, hospitality or similar environment. The ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating professional credibility and will be balanced and thoughtful in approach, exercising good judgement. You will ideally also be CIPD level 5 qualified and above
