Great opportunity to work as a Forklift Truck Driver for one of the UK's leading ambient cake manufacturers.
Staffline is recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver to work in Blackburn.
The rate of pay is GBP10.10, with a pay rise after 12 weeks.
You will work Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
Your Time at Work
As a Forklift Truck Driver at this site, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading of wagons, issuing of raw materials and packaging to the shop floor to ensure all lines are kept running, and general housekeeping of the warehouse and yard
- Carrying out the intake of raw materials and packaging, liaising with the Technical and Purchasing departments to ensure conformance to specifications
- Loading finished goods onto vehicles in a safe and manner with the most economical usage of space
- Ensuring that all raw materials and packaging are receipted accurately and are stored and allocated to production in the correct rotation and are in line with material intake procedures
- Maintain material stock rotation and segregation of allergens
- Report any issues with RM quality or shelf life identified on stock counts
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Forklift Truck Driver holds a valid Forklift Truck licence, including Reach and Counterbalance.
You should be computer literate and have a good understanding of both Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
Forklift Truck Drivers can work under pressure to tight guidelines and communicate well with others.
