The UK site is looking for experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their friendly team.
If you can demonstrate your experience of working with injection moulding machines, and show your mechanical and electrical qualifications, along with basic PLC knowledge, and pneumatic and hydraulic experience, we would be really keen to receive your application. In addition, you will need to be willing to support other members of the team, including our apprentices, have a positive attitude, and good English communication skills.
The main purpose of the role is to provide hands on engineering support, routine planned maintenance, attending breakdowns/repairs on production machinery and ancillary equipment alongside the existing team.
The role involves project work, such as the installation of new state of the art injection moulding machinery, therefore you need to be adept at problem solving, process improvement, and well organised.
The hours of work are double days, rotating weekly between 0, and 1 (8 hours Monday to Friday).
In addition we work a banked hours system for overtime, where you are required to work 104 hours extra over 12 months, in return for uplifting your basic monthly salary by 10% (January to December, pro-rated for new joiners). Some weekends are required.
If you want more overtime once you've paid back the 104 hours, this is paid at a rate of 1.6.
