Business Information Security Analyst
Working as part of a small team to support the Information Security Manager in the development and maturation of the Information Security function, you will work within the Technology Services department sitting alongside specialist Governance, IT Security & technical staff. The Business Information Security Analyst will contribute to Regulatory Compliance, IT Audit Governance, IT Risks and provide key subject matter resource for the Technology GDPR deliverables.
As a member of the IT Governance team, the Analyst will be responsible for helping to embed a culture of information security within the day to day operations of the department ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the services provided to the enterprise.
About you
Experience required:
- Strong experience of ISO27001 is essential and PCIDSS would be a benefit.
- CISA or CISM accreditation is essential.
- You will also have a confident manner and be able to interact with all levels of the business and be able to build relationships.
A good mix of the following is desirable:
- Knowledge of information security practices and procedures with a minimum 2 years experience in a Business Information Security / IT Governance role
- Strong Experience with PCIDSS, ISO27001
- Strong GDPR compliance knowledge
- The ability to produce management information and reports to an agreed schedule or upon request
- Strong influencing nd relationship management skills
- An understanding of IT risk management
A background in financial services would also be advantageous but not essential.
In return you will receive a salary of up to GBP37,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package and a great working environment (including free parking!).
