Delivery/Collection Driver (Construction)
* Employment type: Permanent, full-time
* Location: Leeds
* Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am until 4pm.
* Salary: up to GBP25,000
Due to continued growth and success, my client is now seeking an experienced construction Delivery/Collection Driver to join their business. You will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment and liaising with the construction team. You will need to be client focused, have good communication skills, a can-do attitude, desire to succeed and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Delivery and collection of materials to site.
Driving to the rules of the highway code.
Listing collection of materials and noting any damages/losses.
Loading and unloading equipment.
Liaising with the construction team.
Carrying out daily vehicle checksExperience/ Skills Required
Full clean driving licence is essential.
Excellent customer service skills
Keeping van and equipment clean and tidy.
Must always remain professional whilst on site.
First Aid desirable
Experience with long wheel base and possibly curtain side, no requirement for HGV.
