The Purpose
Our purpose is to nurture and grow this wonderfully special place for people, nature and wildlife to thrive. We have ambitious growth plans for the Staycation market and are looking to build a talented team to help us achieve our goals.
The Person
We are looking for a product focused, task driven individual - someone who is passionate about creating long lasting and positive experiences. The new Marketing Manager will require a creative flair, in order to generate unique ideas to help tell the unique storey of Trentham, bringing the products and customer experience to life in the digital environment
Required Experience
Demonstrable track record and significant experience as an accomplished Digital Marketing Manager
Developing/delivering a strong and seemless end-to-end digital customer journey and user-experiences
Experience of implementing a digital transformation project across website and associated applications, working with numerous suppliers
Experience using WordPress CMS to update websites
Experience of booking engines and e-commerce systems
Knowledge of consumer ticketing systems
Key Accountabilities
Develop, own and deliver the marketing and digital strategy for the business with our external partners
Be the project lead for the new digital strategy systems development and integration for all digital marketing and digital customer activity (ticketing/ e-commerce / CRM (Customer Relationship Management) / Website / Mobile)
Create and manage seasonal marketing campaigns, in association with product owners and business objectives.
Build your stakeholder network of marketing colleagues, sales, design and external partners to deliver the strategy and build awareness of the brand
Work alongside the external agencies to develop the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and PPC (Pay Per Click) strategy maximising budgets to build best in class online performance.
Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team to develop the social media strategy and develop the social media skills with the product owners to create greater engagement and ensuring tone of voice in line with Trentham brand
Ensure all digital and marketing channels operate on brand and support the wider brand thinking and philosophy
Be owner and keeper of Trentham web presence and ensure we can maximize the effectiveness of customer journey through identifying trends and new technologies
Build and deliver an analytics platform for all channels to performance manage digital activity and spend. Translate these reports into simple management dashboards for the business to understand performance linked to the business objectives
Run analytics and data to gain insights to improve the target penetration of digital marketing spend and marketing activity
In house content planning for organic onsite marketing and social media
Day to Day management of portal activity and support the marketing team
Develop and set up other digital marketing and interpretation channels such as heritage and nature and visitor centre customer journey
Manage costs in line with budget and ensure spend is aligned to digital and marketing communications objectives.
Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations
Develop and ensure safe working practices
Essential Skills/ Qualifications:
Experience creating content for social media, online and print
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite
Ability to work with data and data integration
Knowledge of utilising Power Bi / similar reporting tools
Passionate about creating great-quality content including photographic and video content
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages
Attention to detail including good use of grammar and spelling
Excellent time management and organisational skills/ability to work to tight deadlines
Communication and interpersonal skills
Teamwork and the ability to foster good working relationships
For safeguarding reasons, the company requires employees in this position to undergo a basic DBS check, which will show unspent convictions only. The results of the DBS check would be dealt with on a case-bycase base
