Job Title: CNC Turner/Machinist
Salary: 14.70 per hour with Holidays and Pension
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm (4.5 day early finish Friday)
Location: Hatfield, UK
My client is a leading supplier of specialist labelling systems, primarily for the pharmaceutical industry.
The company carries out in-house manufacturing, assembly and testing of machines. We are looking for an experienced CNC lathe Turner/Machinist to join the manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
* Setting & operating XYZ Proturn SLX630 & 410 lathes using Protrax controls
* Setting & operating other machine shop machinery
* Carrying out basic machine maintenance on machine tools
* Working from engineering drawings and/or instructions
* Inspection of components to drawing
The ideal person will:
* Must have relevant engineering experience
* Experience of Fadal controls an advantage
* confident working independently and as part of a team
* good communication and interpersonal skills
* Organised and efficient
* Demonstrate good housekeeping in their work area
