Role: Manual Machinist
Sector: Precision machining
Base Salary: GBP23088 - GBP25012PA + Overtime at T 1/3
Hours: 37pw
Location: Leicester
Our client has a growing order book and new and as such need a Manual Machinist covering all turning and milling activities and who is ideally based in and around Leicester.
As a Manual Machinist you would be milling and turning machines, checking one-offs, use of measurement equipment, setting up jigs and fixtures, complete paperwork in a timely manner.
This will be a great long term role for the right candidate that's with a growing company.
Desirable skills as a Manual Machinist
* Experience in Milling / Turning Manual machines
* Able to read and interpret machining drawings
* Must be willing to do overtime
* Colchester Tornado 300, 200, A50,
* Colchester Triumph long and short bed
* Turret Mill, Vertical Mills, Horizontal mills, Rambaudi Uni Mills
* Juaratsi machine - horizontal Boring
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work under pressure
* Must have a high attention to detail
