428 - Technical Supervisor / Contracts Manager / Pre-Sales Manager
Hampshire Based - GBP38k - GBP45k per annum + Benefits
Reports to Commercial Director
My client, a national HVAC company are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated HVAC Technical Supervisor Contracts manager to join their busy team. The role will support the commercial team in the delivery of commercial HVAC projects, which should be commercially driven to maximize revenue, lend credibility to their sales proposition and drive quality standards in the execution of everything the company does.
Responsibilities:
* Assist field-based teams in the delivery of HVAC projects
* Attend site surveys and assist the sales team with technical design of the solution
* Provide technical and practical support to engineers and commercial teams
* Quoting works giving detailed documents for clients and the sales team
* Ensure labour resources are planned, work with the operational team and coordinate projects
* Keep daily check on labour resourcing to ensure smooth running of jobs
* Assist in the development of new HVAC products, project manager in house boiler build programme
* Provide supervisory role to site staff, directing and managing staff directly
* Develop team building ethos and lead by example
* Encourage effective communication between management, office-based staff and on-site teams
* Communicate with customer ensuring satisfaction is maintained and site interruptions are minimised
* Ensure customers are kept aware of work progress
* Key liaison between sales team and operational team
* Support technical standards and operational policies across every element of the business
* Key support of sales to operational delivery including ownership of process and standards in delivery
* Planning, assistance and management of all installation projects
Skills and Capabilities:
* Recognized Health and Safety training
* NVQ 3 in relevant M&E discipline (or equivalent)
* Proven track record delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
* Good practical and working knowledge of commercial heating / cooling systems
* Good knowledge of quality assurance systems
* IT literate with packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
* Excellent people management skills
* Full driving licence
* Gas qualification and experience
* F Gas experience
* NVQ 3 in relevant M&E discipline (or equivalent)
