Staffline is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our client based in Fradley Park, near Lichfield.

PAYE rates including holiday in lieu for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows:

Monday to Friday Days - GBP14.40 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights - GBP15.52 per hour
Saturday All Day - GBP21.59 per hour
Sunday All Day - GBP28.09 per hour
Overtime Days - GBP17.99 per hour
Overtime Nights - GBP17.99 per hour
PAYE rates including accrued holiday for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follow:

Days (between 05:00 - 16:59) - GBP12.85 per hour
Nights (between 17:00 - 04:59) - GBP13.85 per hour
Overtime - GBP16.06 per hour
Shifts available on all start times across 7 days. We are delighted to offer long term regular ongoing work on days and nights. Overtime applies after 45 hours for the week and no break deduction. This is a full time regular work 5 shifts a week.

Please also contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.

If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve distributing and collecting products from various locations throughout the UK. Being an automotive operation, this site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignment. In return for your commitment we can offer guaranteed shifts and start times that suit you.

Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.

We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have -

6 months HGV driving experience
No more than 6 points
Digi card and DCPC
