White Oak are currently recruiting for a Full Time BI Developer to join our Data and Analytics team based in Chester.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a BI Developer, you will design, develop and maintain the data Warehouse using SQL Server and Kimball methodology. Other duties include:
Creation of advanced analytical outputs in visualization tools such as PowerBI
SQL Server performance tuning and management
Work with the sales and marketing teams to create meaningful, agile regulatory compliant campaigns
Ownership of warehouse data quality routines and best practices
Who are we looking for?
As our BI Developer, you will have proven knowledge of large scale data quality frameworks and best practice. You will also require the following skills and experience:
Monitor and audit data quality SQL Server Full BI Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
Experience with relational and dimensional modelling techniques
Exposure to data migrations ideally
Detailed experience with database deployments
Detailed awareness of UK financial services and products
Gather, understand and document requirements.
Data cleansing and de-duplication
Create data dashboards, data exports and visualisations
Data mining analysis and reporting
Data protection (DPA and GDPR) inc data retention
Experience of large scale source controlDesirable Skills
Experience of implementing a source control tool such as Redgate
Experience of using an offshore team to drive quality analytics implementations.
Embedding Python into PowerBI, experience of Python
Working knowledge of Salesforce
What we can offer you:
As our BI Developer, we can offer a salary of between GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum, dependant on experience plus a range of benefits.
