Bid Writer GBP43k - GBP48k
Our Client is a Facilities & Maintenance Provider who are currently looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their team in Surrey & Hampshire.
The successful candidate will operate and take control of the whole bid process, You will be responsible for managing an opportunity from Pre-Qualification Questionnaire's (PQQ) to Invitation to Tender (ITT) to contract award.
Working closely with other members of the team, including operational leads, to coordinate, prepare, write, and submit tenders / bids for both the Maintenance & Project works. Liaising with stakeholders to gather key information to be able to successfully complete the tender, you will research and understand the nature of the contracts and projects the company is involved with and delivering to continuously improve bid submissions, presentations, and client interviews.
Ideally, you would have good Knowledge & Experience of the Facilities & Maintenance Sectors, have had a successful track record within this field, the role will play a vital part in the company meeting its strategic objectives.
The role will afford the successful candidate the flexibility to work from home, as well as hot desking at our various offices across Hampshire.
Skills and experience required for the Bid / Proposal Writer role:
Demonstrated achievement in the production of tender documents and/or similar written content
Effective decision-maker and networker with internal stakeholders
Advanced writing skills and experience of bid writing to a high and consistent standard
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
You will need to have a positive attitude towards your work responsibilities & adopt flexible working methods to meet the needs of the role. It is necessary that you have good communication skills together with strong problem-solving abilities as you will have regular client contact.
