My established and professional client are looking for an IT Support Coordinator to join them on a six month fixed term contract. The role is to start ASAP and will be providing full deskside and remote IT support to a busy office located in Crawley and to also attend other local offices if required - a car driver is essential.
There will be plenty of 'hands on' work available as there is a major software modernisation going on within the organisation and this person would be keeping IT Support running smoothly while this takes place.
You will have a minimum of two years' experience supporting Windows 10 devices and laptops in a Desktop role, have basic networking skills and experience of coordinating internal and external resources to achieve satisfactory service levels. The role would ideally suite someone at a 2nd Line level and outstanding communication skills are absolutely essential.
Skills and experience required:
* Minimum two years' experience in a Deskside IT Support position at 1st/2nd line Level
* Experience of supporting Windows 10 devices and laptops
* Basic networking skills
* Fantastic communicator with great interpersonal skills and strong written communication
* Experience and technical knowledge of the following is desirable: Citrix, Skills in Word styles, macros and templates, Smartphones, any legal IT experience would be advantageous
* An organised and methodical approach to problem solving
* Awareness and to understand the importance of IT and information security policies and best practice
