Night Supervisor - Brighton and Seaford

GBP22,542 - GBP22,543.00 per annum

22:00pm - 8:00am, 4 nights per week, 40 hours per week

52 weeks a year, to include some weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Nights Supervisor, who will act as People Manager to our night colleagues. You will provide support and guidance to our team of Waking Night Support Workers across our Seaford and Brighton sites.

Your main responsibilities will be:




* People managing a team of Waking Night Support Workers effectively through 1-2-1 review meetings, supporting and reporting of absence and performance issues to the Care manager and helping colleagues to develop further within their career.

* Remaining awake and alert to ensure the safety and welfare of residents in residence throughout the night.

* Be fully aware of the fire drill and emergency procedures in all houses, including arrangements for 'on call' contacts

* Induction of new night staff.

* Ensuring staff complete all duties on shifts, including a written handover.

* Undertake security checks of the premises throughout the night.

* Assist residents with self-care independence skills including eating, drinking, washing, bathing, using the toilet or managing incontinence, dressing and undressing, mobility and transport, getting up and going to bed, and the administration of medication.

* Participate in the assessment, development, implementation and review of placement/care plans for residents.

* In partnership with the care team promote the educational attainment of residents by contributing to the development of Individual Learning Plans and supporting the residents in working towards agreed educational targets in the residential units.

Specifics to role:

* 40 hours per week, as per rota.

* 52 weeks per year including weekends and bank holidays and 30 days holiday including bank holidays

* Float across Seaford and Brighton residential properties so must drive with own transport.
