Applications Engineer required for a market leading manufacturing company, who can offer an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, with ongoing development.
The Applications Engineer role will suit candidates from any engineering background who have experience of technical support and working with clients in a customer facing role. You will need to be confident communicating with customers and internal teams including technical/engineering teams on a daily basis. Candidates from and electronics or automotive backgrounds are encouraged to apply for the role.
The Applications Engineer role will involve working with customers to gain their requirements and deliver solutions by providing technical support. The role will be liaising with design, sales and engineering teams to overcome technical issues and develop new ideas. You will obtain and prepare engineering drawings, BOMs and CAD drawings, so you will need to have an understanding of CAD/technical reports and drawings. This will be a varied and technical role, working with a variety of clients day to day.
The Applications Engineer Role:
* Technical support of electronic/electrical products for the automotive industry
* Preparation and management of technical documents including BOMs and CAD drawings
* Liaising with internal teams to overcome technical issues and develop new ideas
* Customer facing role delivering solutions to clients
The Applications Engineer:
* From an engineering background with technical support and customer facing experience
* Experience in the electronics or automotive industry
* Previous CAD experience of any kind
