Mechanical Fitter
Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembly - Pump Manufacturing Company - Southampton - GBP11.53 per hour
A leading manufacturing company of large pumps are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join a busy production team on a temp to perm basis.
As the Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the following:
* Fitting Pump Ends and Engines / Motors to the pump chassis
* Fitting fuel lines, battery assembly, guards and other ancillary items
* Filling the engines with the correct amount of oil, antifreeze etc.
* Ensuring that all nuts and bolts are tightened to the correct torque setting
You should have previous experience in a similar mechanical fitting / assembly role and have the ability to read from mechanical drawings and work with hand tools.
The company will offer full and involved training on the different processes of the pump production and successful candidates will be rewarded with a permanent contract after the temporary period.
Salary: GBP11.53 per hour on a 40 hour working week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm.
