Hades Fire Protection are looking to employ an EXPERIENCED Fire and Security engineer to join our growing team. We are BAFE and NSI accredited and work on a huge range of projects and systems in Kent, London and the South East. Our skilled engineers pride themselves on excellent work and 'above and beyond' customer service.
Our package for the Fire & Security Engineer includes good rates of pay, company van and phone as well as a commitment to ongoing continuous professional development and with an extra three days of holiday over the Christmas period we also appreciate how challenging this job can be!
If you are a competent fire and electronic security installation engineer with a proven track record of in some or all of the following protocols and systems we are interested in hearing from you. If you are strong in either Fire or Security but are interested in expanding your skill set we would be happy to train the right candidate up.
Typical systems Fire & Security Engineers work on are:
* Conventional Fire Alarms
* Intruder Alarms - Risco, Honeywell, Texecom, Pyronix
* Addressable Fire Alarms - Kentec, Morley, Advanced, Zeta, Honeywell
* CCTV - HikVision, Axis, Samsung
* Wireless Fire Detection - EMS, Hyfire, Wifyre
* Access Control - Paxton, Winpak, CAME
* Air Sampling Systems - Vesda, ICAMM, Honeywell
* Emergency Lighting & Extinguishers
JOB DETAILS of the Fire & Security Engineer:
As an NSI, BAFE and Gate Safe accredited company the candidate will be responsible for undertaking small and large scale installations as well as various pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard meeting all statutory requirements.
This Fire & Security Engineer position is perfect for somebody who is keen to expand their skill set and progress in the industry; able to problem solve and work hard as an individual or part of a team. The successful engineer will be required to participate in the company's on-call rota.
This is a full-time Fire & Security Engineer role is based in Faversham, but our work area covers London and the South East. Hours are 40 hours / week and will involve some nights, weekends and early starts due to the nature of the work.
The successful candidate for the Fire & Security Engineer will be subject to full BS7858 security screening and DBS checks including Barring due to our work in schools.
Role of the Fire & Security Engineer:
?? Install both small works and large scale commercial networked systems
?? Be responsible for the completion of pre-planned maintenance
?? Complete any required remedial repairs
?? Provide exceptional maintenance services to our Clients
Skills needed for the Fire & Security Engineer:
?? Demonstrate previous experience in a Fire and Security engineering role.
?? Demonstrate a general knowledge of Fire & Security Systems.
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of current British Standards and Regulations
?? Demonstrate strong communication skills.
?? Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.
?? Flexible, self-motivating, intuitive and fast thinking
?? Driving licence
?? CSCS / ECS card or equivalent
