About your new company:

A well-established grounds maintenance and landscaping contractor operating throughout Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Lincolnshire and parts of Northamptonshire with an enviable reputation.

About your new role:

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the West Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Department which consist of Operations Management for Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping, Facilities and Administration. The Operations Manager will report to the Director of Operations on a regular basis by attendance of meetings and reporting on financials of the department of the business.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Assist with the scheduling of landscape works
Assist with quotations and estimating works
Sourcing materials and plants
Ordering materials and supplies
Health and Safety including risk assessments
Site monitoring and reporting
Ordering and supplying uniform and PPE to the team
Project Management
Tool box talks
Manage deliveries/stock/essential supplies
Identify ongoing training and staff development needs
Assist on site when required
Communicating with staff, clients and contractors effectively
What you need to succeed:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
A valid full UK Driving License
IOSH
A high level of verbal and written communication skills in a commercial environment, including presentations and report writing.
