STAFFTODAY seek a Class 2 ADR Driver (DAY SHIFTS )
Our client is looking for a C2 ADR Driver, Based in north east Staffordshire at Hixon.
Working days, Monday to Friday delivering seeds to farms and commercial outlets, you will do bulk deliveries and part deliveries, you will have a permanent drivers mate to assist with the unloading and bagging process. No nights out and plenty of overtime available,
Driving a purpose built seed wagon throughout the uk, making daily or weekly delivery to farms, nurseries, grow houses and commercial distributors, you will either bulk dump delivery or bag up deliveries as per the customer requirements. Some seeds are chemically processed so therefore an ADR licence is required.
The Drivers mate will be able to guide you through the delivery process.
This is a four month contract with plenty of scope to becoming a full time position for the right person.
There are no public transport links to this area so successful candidates will need to be a car/transport owner, so as to get to site.
Normal start time is 05.00 so must be an early riser. This position is available from 01.07.2021 only.
we pay weekly one week in arrears.
We ask that you have at least 2 years experience of HGV driving, if you have done a similar role previously we will be interested in meeting with you. Due to insurance protocol you must be aged 25 years + with a checkable work history, Have a good knowledge of the uk road network, must be able to communicate with clients- whilst exceeding their needs during the delivery process.
You will need
Class 2 drivers licence, Tacho card, drivers up to date cpc card, ADRCard/and/or certificate.
You will be asked for the afore mentioned information prior to being introduced to our client.
