Our client has an exciting opportunity for TEN Safe & Well Support Workers to join them on a permanent basis. They have a number of full-time and part-time roles available. They’re looking for people to join their supported housing team in Stoke to play a crucial role to support customers during the night, outside of normal working hours and evenings.
 
Job requirements:
Be a first point of contact for customers during out of hours
Deal with anti-social behaviour and help customers when they lock themselves out
Welcome new customers into the service and help them to settle in
Complete customer entry and exit processes
Help people to access emergency accommodation
Be on hand to provide emotional, practical and mental health support should customers need it
Complete admin duties such as data entry, updating logbooks and writing handover reports and use CCTV to monitor activity

Someone with a genuine understanding and compassion for people without a home, who won’t judge and instead will empower customers to help them overcome the challenges they face
Great problem-solving skills with the ability to handle conflict
Someone who can work with customers to get the very best outcome
A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to work around the needs of the customer
Someone who can work nights across 7 days a week including weekends
Great communications skills with the ability to develop a rapport
Someone with experience of supporting adults with complex needs
