Our client is looking for operatives to join their team.

As part of the team, your role will be to provide the right solution for customers. Big jobs, little jobs, all kinds of jobs — you’ll solve problems and make sure that all properties and customers receive the highest levels of service. In your role, you’ll build strong relationships, make new friends and have a genuinely positive impact on the lives of thousands of people.

You will take pride in the repairs and maintenance of domestic properties and be able to demonstrate a wide range of trade skills in addition to a primary core trade for which you must possess a Minimum NVQ level 2 qualification.

You’ll need to have a full, clean driving licence, and willing to work 37.5 hours per week.

Our client wants someone:

• Whose core skill is supplemented with genuine all-round ability and knowledge of other trades including plumbing, carpentry, tiling and plastering. 
• With plenty of flexibility, as well as a proven ability to diagnose, undertake and complete repairs to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Who is seen as a people person with excellent customer service skills.
• Who feels comfortable working within a social housing environment.
• With an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision.
• Who has previous experience working in a fast-paced service undertaking responsive repairs or undertaking planned / cyclical repairs such as kitchen and bathroom replacements, void property refurbishment, soffit & fascia replacements to name a few. 
• Who takes pride in a job well done and settles for nothing less.
• Salary will be up to £34,735 for a standard working week dependent on skills and experience with some opportunities for overtime to support our client’s out of hours service.
