Reporting to

Customer Services Manager

Primary Responsibilities

Work alongside the Customer Services Manager, championing customer related issues within the business to ensure they are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Manage client expectations to ensure realistic timetables and deliverables, and then exceed those expectations.

Liaise with internal and external support staff and developers to understand customer issues and where appropriate, propose, plan and manage the implementation of the solution working directly with all parties.

Contribute to initiatives to improve internal processes. To ensure these processes are adequately documented and all relevant staff adequately trained and briefed.

Adhere to all departmental processes.

Record all time spent on all work.

Other duties as required.
Experience Required

Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to reason, influence and negotiate between the various stakeholders.

Proven collaborative working experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.

Proven ability to identify blockers, collect data and analyse reasons, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Understand business drivers, future customer needs and competitive challenges.

Ability to think critically about prioritisation decisions and make smart trade-offs.

Demonstrate a flair for innovation and creativity.

Have strong time management and organisational skills.

Be able to communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organisation and external customers.

Technical Requirements

Demonstratable SQL language skills in a major RDBMS (MSSQL Server / Oracle).

Demonstratable data manipulation skills using Excel /Google sheets or other desktop products.

Basic development skills in one of VB / C# / Python / R would be an advantage but not essential.

Appreciation of Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) to a level where customers can be signposted to solutions
