Our client based on the outskirts for Chelmsford are a distributor of Hot Tubs and Spa's. With the increase in workload they are currently looking for additional assistance with their day to day requirements for the next couple of months. This is a varied role, mainly working as a forklift driver in the warehouse carrying out general warehouse duties, stocking deliveries from container using a scanner and computer. However from time to time you may be required to go out on the road with a driver to assist with an installation or a decommission for a customer. Due to the nature of this role you must be able to lift moderate weights as there may be some heavy lifting involved. They have also requested that anyone applying has their own transport to get to and from site due to location.
Do you have:
* A valid Forklift Counter Balance Licence (Reach would be an added bonus)?
* Experience of working in a warehouse environment?
* Your own transport to get to and from site?
* Eligibility to work in the UK?
* Good punctuality and reliability?
* The ability to lift bulky items?
* The ability to speak and write in English fluently?
Duties:
* Assisting with deliveries and decommissioning of hot tubs and spas (drivers mate)
* Assisting in the warehouse with the stocking of delivered products that come in from containers.
* Picking of orders and up keep of stock levels
* Lifting, stacking and sorting
* Using scanner/computer to check orders
Work hours:
Monday - Friday 07:30am - 16:00 (Could be later finish if out on the road that day)
Breaks are 45 minutes divided into 15 minutes paid in the morning and 30 minutes unpaid in the afternoon.
Salary:
GBP10.50ph
This is an ongoing agency contract with the potential to become more permanent to the right candidate.
