Assistant Care Manager - Derby

We are looking to recruit a talented, skilled and enthusiastic assistant manager to support and deputise for the Registered Manager. You will provide leadership on all issues relating to clinical excellence. Coordinating and coaching staff to ensure that effective care services are provided, quality standards are continually improved and clinical outcomes are recorded and measured.

Qualifications: Holds a first degree, or other professional qualification or QCF 5 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards.

You will be able to work independently and autonomously while directly reporting to the Registered Manager.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, forward thinking and prepared to train and develop to become a registered manager within 18 months.

At a practical level, you'll need good IT and communication skills including numeracy and literacy in order to keep accurate records. You must also be fit enough to take on the more physical aspects of the job.

This post is suitable for a recent graduate with transferrable skills or a support worker with supervisory experience, healthcare professional or talented individual.

SalaryGBP24,500 (GBP11.77 per hour) - GBP28,000 (GBP13.46 per hour) dependent upon experience and qualifications
