Acorn are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for Wavin Forest Works, based in Swadlincote, DE11 8BQ.
Wavin UK is a member of the Wavin Group, and is the world leader in plastic pipe systems for residential, non-residential and civil engineering projects.
The role is ongoing, working a 3-shift rotational pattern (days, evenings and nights):

Rate of pay is GBP12.45 per hour.
We have immediate starts on multiple shifts for as soon as next week (07/06/2021).
Responsibilities and duties (not limited to):
* Use power tools and machinery as required and trained in the use of to aid manufacturing processes.
* All machine and power tool risk assessments must be strictly followed and adhered to at all times.
* Set machinery using measuring equipment, tapes, rules, squares, levels, and the like to ensure the unit is correct to specification.
* Responsible for checking that the unit is correct to drawing and standards.
* Sign off any quality documentation.
* Maintain equipment by completing any internal/external preventive maintenance. requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs to equipment.
