Customs Administrator Temp - Perm
REF: CUST1
Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday - Friday (5am - 2pm)
Pay: GBP10.00
We are recruiting for a methodical and meticulous administrator to join a large freight forwarder within Northampton. The selected candidate will be required to accurately input all custom entries and requirements. Ensuring that all associated customs administration is completed in line with the legislative requirements.

Duties:
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain specific instructions and information on associated customs requirements prior to shipping
Reviewing customer documentation to ensure that all data required is obtained - this will include checking all tariffs, commodity codes, licence requirements etc.
Ensuring relevant checks have been completed required prior to shipping Submission of custom declarations to HMRC
Problem solving on rejected entries Updating monthly exchange rates, and commodity codes
Calculation of VAT where applicableThe Candidate:
Excellent attention to detail
Methodical Confident communicator
Logical approach to work MS Office including Excel and Word
