We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful Fresh Produce business, who are seeking a Material Resource Planner / MRP Planner to join their energetic and passionate Planning team.
The position of Material Resource Planner / MRP Planner will ensure all supply & demand is ultimately matched & delivered to sales, procurement and production teams daily through the MRP process. You will support the continued development of MRP across business functions and maintain relevant data to enable planning processes.
Reporting to the Sales & Operations Planning Manager, this position will take ownership and delivery of daily MRP sessions to assist short-term commercial planning, Updating of stock and order information as required for MRP, and liaising with relevant 3rd parties to obtain information.
We require;
Experience in a MRP/ Planning role, preferably within Fresh Produce or similar sectors
Good understanding of process and continual improvement methodology
Excellent analytical skills and confident to work analytically
Knowledge of forecasting & planning systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Hours; Mon to Fri 6.30am to 3.30pm with weekend cover on a rota.
Where a weekend is worked, they will have two days off the following week.
Salary; Dependent on experience offered
