Class 1 HGV Driver

We are currently looking for HGV Drivers (Class 1) to join our busy client based in washinton/Sunderland area. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout the UK.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects (both electronically and verbally)
Following all regulations relating to driver's hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Essential Criteria

Must hold a valid HGV licence
Must hold a Digital Tachogragh card and Full Driver CPC
Minimum of 1 years HGV driving experience
Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points)
Ability to undertake manual work
Flexible approach to working hours as weekends and Bank Holidays will be required
Excellent customer service skills
Team Player
Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good Knowledge of driver's hours, rules and regulations**Must be able to provide documentation to confirm your eligibility to work in the UK**
