My client is a Global Fleet Engineering Company, one of the biggest in the UK and the World, suppling specialist automotive vehicles and machinery to 80 different countries.
Job Description
Experienced Mobile Fleet Engineer / HGV Technician. The job will entail diagnostic work, defects, general maintenance and servicing of a large customer base, mainly at Supermarket Distribution Centres, Airports and other locations. You will be supplied a company van (business use only).
The Successful Applicant
Technical Qualification or proven experience of repairing and maintaining vehicles LGV / HGV Technical / Mechanical Engineer qualifications, 2 or 3 NVQ level, IMI Level or City & Guilds.
Class 1 or 2, HGV License (not essential, added benefit)
The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having the flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
Ability to communicate effectively within your team and manage internal relationship to deliver required information in a timely clear manor.
All works must be accurate and consistent adhering to all processes and procedures.
What's on Offer
Pay rate: Up to GBP40,000pa + OT + Company Van (negotiable on skill sets and experience/HGV license)
Fuel Card: Yes, for business use only
Hours: 48 hours per week - Monday to Friday between the core hours of 07:00 and 18:30
Holidays: 28 days including statutory
Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee
Benefit: Group Life Cover (death in service) 3x annual salary.
