Opportunity for an IT support technician / IT graduates to join a market-leading business with a secure order book for the next few years. The company are supplying product for a wide range of projects across the UK. The organisation are financially stable and have an excellent reputation.
As the IT support technician / IT graduate, you will work closely with the IT manager and a small team of IT professionals. You will focus on providing first and second line support to a range of users across the UK. Further duties will include: -
Communicating with users, investigating and resolving system problems quickly and to a high standard, escalating to senior staff when appropriate
Identifying, investigating, and resolving follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of personal computers, or mainframe applications
Ensuring the accurate and safe configuration of hardware across the business
Supporting or managing specific projects or undertake specific project activitiesTo be successful in your application for the IT support technician / IT graduate position, you will need: -
Experience in an IT support role or a relevant IT degree
The willingness to learn, along with good communication skills.In return, the IT support technician / IT graduate will receive a salary of up to GBP25,000, pension and holidays.
