Our client based in Dover is seeking a temp to cover a 3-month assignment. Stores Administrator.
Working Monday to Friday - 7.30 am to 4.00 pm
Pay rate GBP10.00 p/h - PAYE, weekly in arrears through React Recruitment Ltd
The role is required to offer Administration assistance in Purchasing and Stores tasks, working between the Purchasing and Stores departments, e.g 3 days in the office and 2 days in stores.
You will be required to assist in the Office completing administration tasks as well as providing support in our Stores.
Duties/skills/experience required:
* Supporting with admin tasks relating to tendering and sourcing tasks, quotations, benchmarking and invoice processing
* Unloading and dealing with delivery drivers
* Packaging of goods for return, calibration and dispatch
* Issuing goods from pick lists and at the stores counter, and dealing with stores enquiries
* Filing documents such as delivery notes and issue indents
* Supporting the weekly stock take
* Entering information in to purchasing systems
* Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary
Skills and Qualifications:
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English or demonstrable competency
* Previous purchasing administration and/or stores experience
* Competence in using Microsoft Office applications
* A Counterbalance Forklift certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
* Be self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
