We currently have an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Project Coordinator to join our reputable manufacturing client on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle of a project (sales order) from initial enquiry stage to the drawing interpretation, configuration and then order load. Ensuring all project elements are taken into consideration and managed effectively. This responsibility will also include support of invoicing and non-conformance (NC) issues.

Daily Responsibilities:

* Interpret customer drawings, create quotations and orders using their knowledge of customer specification

* Creating project plan; monitoring project status throughout its phases (production, installation etc.)

* Ensuring coherence between planned delivery date and customer's desired delivery date by acting as a bridge between Planning, Procurement and the customer

* Liaise with internal departments (Manufacturing, R&D, Quality)

* Work with contractors and customers to ensure program and specifications are understood and can be achieved

* Be responsible for any administrative work undertaken in support of your client and work for other clients when the need arises (e.g. quotations, order loading, invoicing)

* Ensure program changes are actioned in a timely manner. Keep customer quotation up to date

* Sign off site with customer; ensuring any late information is up to date for invoicing and assist accounts in chasing late payment

* Work in full support of Key Account Managers

* Contribute to the management of NCF's, GAP analysis reports and error reduction

Essential Skills & Requirements:

* Knowledge of digital tools and ability to gather and exchange information and to perform activities through the use of workflows

* Knowledge on planning parameters (e.g. Lead Time; Make/Buy???) and methods of transportation (costs and benefits)

* Ability to communicate at all levels and negotiate positively with sales, suppliers and internal customers and colleagues

* Strong numeracy and accuracy skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Experience with IT software, strong Microsoft office skills (particularly excel)

* Manage and prioritise workload

* Ability to work with defined processes but able to identify improvements

* Can do attitude and ability to get things right first time
