Job Role
Our Solutions Architect Manager is currently recruiting for a first-class IT Quality Assurance Engineer to join and strengthen their existing team. This role will be based from our offices in Oldbury.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Understanding software change diagrams written in UML, Archimate and BPMN
- Estimate, prioritise and plan testing activities within project time scales
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test suites and regression packs
- Execute tests according to the test suite, including regression tests where appropriate
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and developers to validate designs and implementation
- Work with UI/UX to ensure implemented screens match the specification
- Identify, record, document and track bugs working with developers to monitor progress
- Troubleshoot issues to gather information and find the source
- Communicate testing status to the product team
About You
To be considered for this role you must have experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and QA methodologies, tools and processes is essential.
Your naturally strong communication and organisational skills will be fully utilized in this role as will your ability to effectively prioritise, multitask and problem solve. We would also expect you to have

- Adapting and responding to change, as well as coping well with pressure and setbacks
- Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience working with cloud technologies and an ability to investigate bugs.
