Customer Service Inspector (Part-Time)
Torquay, Devon (with travel to various sites throughout the South West)
 
About the Role
 
We currently have an opportunity for a Customer Service Inspector to join our Customer Service team working one or two days per week.
 
As a Customer Service Inspector, you will be responsible for providing an inspection service between the Construction and Sales departments.
 
Ensuring a consistent high-quality product is achieved, you will continually improve the Customer Service experience in pursuit of the HBF 5 Star rating.
 
You will also be responsible for resolving issues that may arise relating to defects in a customer’s new home, including the planning and organisation of contractors.
 
Reporting to our Head of Customer Service, you will also:
 
- Conduct final quality inspections of properties before they are handed over to the customer
- Put into place any remedial action required prior to handover
- Instruct and monitor the progress of remedial works
 
Who we’re looking for
 
To be considered as a Customer Service Inspector, you’ll need:
 
- Relevant experience in construction
- Previous experience in problem solving, planning and resolving build issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to use your own initiative and work well under pressure
- A full, valid driving licence
