Registered Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Nurse to join a service. This is a Consultant led Specialist Level 2 Neurological Rehabilitation Centre based in York. This client works in conjunction with York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Humber Coast and Vale STP, to deliver high quality intensive neurological rehabilitation, physical, cognitive, functional and vocational assessments, behavioural management, and complex disability assessments for patients above the age of 18.
This client support patients with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke and spinal cord injury. They can undertake SMART assessments for patients in Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDoC) and create bespoke treatment plans.
The centre is a purpose built building with 25 en-suite bedrooms plus 2 further rooms forming a transitional living flat all set within 3.5 acres of gardens.
They are happy to consider applicants for the following:
* 24 hours ( Part time, 2 shifts per week-12 hours each shift )
* 36 hours ( Full time, 3 shifts per week-12 hours each )
* You would be required to work some weekend shifts
* They have a two week rotational shift pattern - days for two weeks and then switch to nights for two weeks
* They may also consider candidates who are looking for days or nights only.
