Trade Marketing Manager

We manufacture and deliver a diverse range of vehicle cleaning products, we're the trade leader in UK and Ireland and we're in the most significant period of business growth in our history with sales expected to grow by 50% in the next 5 years.
We have a rare opportunity for a trade marketing manager to join our senior management team and lead the delivery of the marketing and communication plan for UK and Ireland; helping to inspire and motivate our franchisee partners to deliver exceptional results for Autosmart and their own businesses. Upcoming projects include trialling and launching a top secret new product and delivering our first face to face regional sales meetings for our franchisees since March 2020. As Trade Marketing Manager you will:
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and our franchise partners to develop an annual marketing plan for UK and Ireland.
* Manage the implementation and track progress of the plan.
* Be operationally 'hands on' with day to day marketing activity; leading marketing projects, writing project briefs, copywriting for product launches and training material, providing technical expertise and knowledge and carrying out a wide range of marketing tasks in support of projects.
* Establish strong market research channels; end customer, franchise partner and internal stakeholders.
* Run franchisee product, competitor and IT workshops to improve our business.
* Identify, analyse and report market trends to further develop the marketing plan.
* Manage Autosmart's brand standard ensuring consistency across all channels
* Lead and develop the team to deliver exceptional performance.
What you will bring:
* At least 3-5 years proven work experience in a trade marketing environment.
* Experience of all aspects of marketing mix including digital marketing, communications and product related activities.
* Experience working with sales teams, distribution/franchise partners and end users
* Excellent communication, commercial and project management skills
* A formal marketing qualification and ideally a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
* Full UK valid driving licence
* A passion for all things automotive will be advantageous however is not essential.
What we can offer you:
* Salary GBP45,000 to GBP50,000 depending on experience.
