Working in a commercial management role for my client, a leading managed services provider with a diverse client base, the role offers a fascinating blend of tactical and strategic IT management.
The successful candidate should have most recently worked as an Account Manager for an IT support business, value added reseller or managed services provider, and aspiring to develop their career and skills by expanding their work experience to the next level.
Suitable candidates will understand the unique challenges of communicating technical topics to non-technical stakeholders whilst linking business benefits to technology features.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have shown dedication to their technical or commercial professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MCP / MCSE and have direct knowledge or common MSP tools and technologies, such as Autotask, Datto, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Zendesk, VMware, AWS, Azure and Office 365.
The successful candidate will be working with and therefore requires commercial management experience of;
IT Strategy & Roadmap development
Pre-sales, product, and solution quotations
Windows & Mac client devices
Azure AD, Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Server & Hyper-V
Office 365 & Azure
Market leading Firewalls and Switches
Market leading Backup and recovery solutions
MSP service contract profitability monitoring and management
Client review meetings in person and remotely
Benefits in addition to basic salary includes and quarterly bonus and flexible home & office working arrangements.
With a blend of working from home, the office in Cheltenham and visiting client sites across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas; a full clean driving license and use of own car will be required.
Finally, as the core link between my client and their customers, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
