Job location: Loughborough
Pay: GBP11.91 (starting)
GBP15.84 (+1/3)
GBP17.87 (+1/2)
(Starting rate can increase as soon as fourth week. Overtime rates will increase in line with this)
Hours: 39 hours per week (+overtime)
Shift: Mon-Thur 07:15-16:15. Fri 07:15-12:15
Duration: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)
Start: ASAP
Overview
Shorterm Group are looking for fully skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welders to join the team at a Loughborough based fabrication company creating various heavy steel products for the Rail, Energy and Construction sectors, and others.
This is a long term opportunity with a quick pay progression framework that could see your basic rate starting to increase in as little as 4 weeks.
My client has been providing top quality fabrications for nearly 100 years and has grown and developed continuously throughout this period.
The Successful candidate:
Must be capable of MIG/MMA/MAG welding mild/heavy gauge steel.
Must have minimum 3 years' experience of welding.
Must be able to work unsupervised from engineering drawings.
Should be flexible with overtime.
Can work as a team or on solo projects.
Provide certificates on request.
Provide references to support experience.
