Job Title: Class Two Driver

Reports To: Distribution Manager

Brief Overview

We are now recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join us. Reporting to the Distribution Manager this role will be responsible for transporting our stock of beers, wines, spirits and minerals from our Heathfield, Newton Abbot Depot to our customers.

Core Duties

- Driving lorries up to 18 tonnes
- Delivering stock to our customers - loading / unloading stock
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other staff at the depot
- Using your skills to deliver the best service to our customers

You'll be working an average of 45 hours per week on a 5 out of 7 day period, however weekend work will usually only be during peak periods over the year / on a roster basis. Start times can vary between 06:30 and 08:00

Key Skills

- A valid Class 2 Drivers Licence
- A valid CPC Drivers Card
- Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation
- Knowledge of Devon, Somerset and West Dorset an advantage
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads
- Great team working ethic
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident communicator with all levels of management / staff within the company

Hours: 45 per week
Salary: GBP28,080 per annum
