Injection Moulding Process Operator
??Salary GBP12 per hour dependant on experience
??Initially rotate over 2 shifts 37.5hrs per week 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00

The Job
??To operate injection moulding machines according to procedure.
??To trim excess material from parts if necessary.
??To segregate rejects by material type to allow regrind process.
??To regrind scrapped product for reuse.
??Ensure parts produced meet the criteria of the work instructions / visual aid.
??Carry out quality checks on moulded parts as necessary.
??Accurately complete all logs (data input and written), to include hourly checks and downtime and pack and identify product as per instructions.
??To perform preventive maintenance on machines.
??To follow work instructions as needed and may be asked to write, revise instructions and train others to follow those instructions.
??To maintain a clean area and maintain a good standard of general housekeeping.
??Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with company quality program and procedures, company policies and safety and environmental regulations.
??Uphold all polices in relation to health, safety and welfare.
??About You
??Experience in a plastic moulding manufacturing environment.
??Good numeracy, literacy skills and communication skills.
??Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
??Proactive and innovative.
??To work effectively alone and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
??Flexibility to work various shift times.
??Ability to prioritise workload.
??Ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.
??Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
