An exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing company who are currently looking for a stock supervisor to join the procurement team on a part time basis. You will be responsible for the movement and levels of stock, ensuring that this is maintained and organised properly.

Duration: Permanent
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Salary: GBP10 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday 10:00am - 2:00pm

You will have great organisation and communication skills with a desire to manage company assets ensuring they are protected from misuse and misplacement.

Duties:

* Receive all goods-in to the company, ensuring deliveries are received in good condition

* Check (unpack and inspect) all goods received to ensure the specifications and quantity received match the purchase order, checking them in to the online system

* Label all goods received and store in designated areas applying stock rotation principles

* Prepare goods for dispatch, from Picking Lists provided, ensuring goods are accurately picked & packed for shipment

* Ensure all goods-out are labelled correctly and recorded on the stock management system

* Request couriers as part of the courier booking process

* Accurately record all stock movements on the stock management system

* Check stock levels, and coordinate with the Procurement Administrator for any new requirements

* Manage the expectations of engineers and their need for additional ad-hoc items from stock, ensuring all stock movements are documented for inclusion on client invoices

* Perform stock takes

* Any other duties as required to fulfil the job role to the company's needs.
