A Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist with human genetics experience is required to join a leading Scientific R&D company in Oxford. This is a great role for a Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist who enjoys collaborative working across multi-disciplinary teams!
The Role
As the Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist, you will be working on analysing long-read sequencing data in multiple biological contexts. The Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist will be working closely with data analysts to improve and adapt existing tools, as well as setting up automation for your own analysis.

What's Required?
For this Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist position, we're looking for experience with:
Previous experience with as a Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist , either from academia or commercial work
Experience analysing large sets of sequencing data
Experience working with complex human genomes
NGS and ideally long-reads
Scripting - Python, Perl or R
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
