Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP30k-40k based on experience.
Eque2 is a market leading software development company seeking a full stack web developer to join our Birmingham development team. We are developing cloud-based management systems for the construction industry and are looking to expand our friendly group of developers.
The position will eventually be office based, however we will be conducting interviews remotely and continue working from home until further guidance is issued by the government.
Successful Full Stack Ruby Developer applicants should have several years of experience in web software development with strong skills in the following areas:
* MySQL - Database design, query optimisation etc. or equivalent database server.
* HTML / CSS / Javascript - JQuery experience would be beneficial.
* Ruby on Rails knowledge would be highly beneficial, however we are able to retrain candidates who are experienced with other back end languages such as PHP. In this case, experience working with frameworks such as Laravel would be desirable.
* REST / OAuth - Knowledge or experience of integrating with 3rd party web services and relevant protocols and formats.
* GitHub or Experience working with similar version control systems.
* Any experience with regards to creating or working with financial software would be beneficial.
