With that in mind, the responsibility of working as a Service Desk Analyst plays a huge part in a business's success. By providing first line support to staff and customers, you're the sole advisor and first point of contact when it comes to solving problems. You've worked with an ICT team before to ensure data and incidents are logged correctly so that everyone is on the ball. You are special. Without you, there is no resolution to internal/external issues, nobody to chase up complaints and manage tickets, which would be catastrophic on the customer facing side of the business. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, even if it might feel that way sometimes. But I guess the only way to really prove your worth is by starting afresh in a new environment that is yet to benefit from your skill and influence???

I'm looking for a Service Desk Analyst that can oversee and manage customer enquiries effectively and in a polite manner. Maintenance also includes ensuring the service desk in staffed during support hours, by communicating well with your colleagues to maintain cover as required. You'll be reporting to a Senior Service Manager, so any concerns with ICT services, or any escalated issues would need to be reported back to the SMT. Measuring performance will also be a responsibility of yours, and this will be done through reports that analyse performance against SLA'S, OLA'S, and KPI's ( basically factored indicators that determine how well the team is performing). Budgeting, finance, team development and system improvement are your keywords, so write them down! If you can stay one step head at all times, make effective decisions, collaborate well and achieve results, then this one is for you!
