Mechanical Assembler
GBP10.62p/hr, Long term temp Role, 39hrs per week, Days

Interaction Recruitment have a great opportunity for experienced Mechanical Assembler to work for a well-known Industrial Manufacturer based near Yeadon, Leeds on the Day shift.
The successful candidate must have previous Mechanical Assembly or Production build experience, can follow written engineering/technical drawings and have experience soldering and using hand tools. Having a Ride-On BT Truck License and experience would be beneficial to the role while knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques will be vital as the role will include heavy lifting.
The work is quite intricate, so dexterity is vital. If you are looking for a lot of variety in your work, then this might not be for you. The work will be repetitive working on and assembling the same units every day. Day to day duties will include basic assembly work, drilling, soldering, operating hand tools and general machine operating.
Day shifts are 6am to 2.30pm from Mon to Thurs with a 11.45am finish on a Friday and a starting Pay Rate of GBP10.62p/hr. Overtime will be available during busy periods paid at time + ?? and Double Time. This role is initially advertised as a long-term Temporary role. However, for the right candidates there may be a possibility of the role being made Permanent.
