We are currently working with a lovely Primary School in St Albans, who are looking for a caring and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
You will be working 1:1 with a pupil in KS2. The role is to start as soon as possible and will be till the end of the academic year.
The Role:
* Supporting an SEN pupil on a 1:1 basis in the classroom
* Providing targeted support outside of the classroom
* Work on differentiated activities with groups of students
* Liaise with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to deliver SEN provision
* Developing social/emotional skills
* Working with teachers to monitor progress of pupil
About you:
If you are passionate about pupils' development and enthusiastic to take on a new challenge, then you are the type of candidate we would like to speak to. Additionally, you must meet the following criteria:
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Be familiar with the UK curriculum
* Able to provide references covering the last 2 years, ideally from an educational establishment
* Have a DBS or happy to get one in progress
* Overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply
