Manufacturing Technician

Premier Recruitment is working on behalf of prestigious client who is looking for dynamic and driven Manufacturing Technician needed for market leading company. This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing team and learn and develop many new skills.

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities:

1. The following manufacturing activities can be part of the overall role

• Coating of the solid phase of the in vitro diagnostic product (ELISA / CLIA) using semi-automated equipment
• Testing of the solid phase to ensure batch is homogeneous
• Filling components into bottles using industrial filling machines
• Lyophilising components using freeze drying equipment
• Labelling of components
• Packing of product for shipment
• Cleaning and autoclaving of equipment

1. The role can extend as part of personal development into

• Manufacturing bulk components
• Manufacturing and testing of other manufactured components e.g. conjugates and controls for ELISA/CLIA

1. To complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner highlighting issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor as soon as they occur
2. Comply will all Company procedures governing the role
3. Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of one or more manufacturing processes
2. Good interpersonal and communication skills
3. The ability to adapt to change in priorities
4. Good numeracy skills
5. Accurate record keeping
6. Willing to learn new skills in order to support Manufacturing needs
