Waddington Brown are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Norwich based business to recruit an experienced HR Officer.

Reporting to the HR Manager and working in a small team, you will help to deliver an effective HR service to the business by providing advice & guidance on all HR matters to employees and managers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Managers by supporting and coaching them to take ownership of employee matters and helping them to understand policies and procedures correctly. This will include all areas of employee relations and performance management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of HR systems and T&A enabling the generation and analysis of reporting, KPIs and management information.
  • Supporting with recruitment - working with managers, providing advice and guidance with job descriptions, sourcing of candidates and interview support.
  • Assisting Managers with the implementation of absence management procedures, supporting & coaching them with relevant meetings.
  • Ad hoc HR project work

To be successful in this role you will ideally be CIPD accredited (Level 5 or 7) and have previous experience gained in a similar HR role. You will have strong employment law knowledge and have good employee relations experience including dealings with disciplinary & grievance investigations and hearings. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to make decisions, influence and advise.
