What you'll be doing

Completing a range of people-related advisory tasks and processes covering the employment lifecycle
Consistent approach and taking into account current case law developments
Being the first point of contact for Line Managers for HR Policy interpretation advice and case management issue resolution
Ensuring all employee relations cases are managed to a high standard and are closed off within the service level agreement timeframe
Ensuring that processes are accurately documented in user guides, administration guides and flowcharts
Coaching internal customers on issue/case resolution protocol
Maintaining data tracking logs for metrics production and compliance reporting
What you'll need

Sound HR generalist experience, ideally within a fast-paced HR shared services environment
Good general knowledge of current and forthcoming employment law, case law and best practice
Experience in managing employee relations cases including disciplinary and grievance
Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, as well as ability to influence others
Proven track record of delivery in HR operations and administration
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and of seeing tasks through to completion
Ability to respond to a high volume of queries, ensuring a high attention to detail, consistency and accuracy
Ability to exercise sound judgment when dealing with queries and issues and when escalation is appropriate
