We are looking for a pro-active Quality Manager to join our highly successful team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to utilise their quality skills to the full and would suit an ambitious candidate seeking their next challenge in the 'Quality Sphere'. The key to success in this role will be in developing an understanding of Rubber and Plastic moulding to implement quality programs as part of our quality first culture, to increase customer satisfaction and support business wide continuous improvement initiatives.

The position, based in our Aberdeen office and reporting to the General Manager, has line management responsibility for a busy team of QC inspectors in addition to QA & HSE. The successful candidate will drive a data focused approach to shopfloor problem solving, coordinate internal, external and supplier audits and liaise directly with our global customer base.

The Ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry managing a team of quality professionals. Candidate must have the ability and desire to drive improvements in the business and bring technical application ability to bear on problem solving issues.

An understanding of technical drawings and metrology techniques is fundamental to the role.

Preferred candidates will be certified in Continuous Improvement techniques such as Six Sigma in addition to professionally focused qualifications such as American Society of Quality (Certified Quality Engineer) or Chartered Quality Institute (Chartered Quality Professional).
